12 questions before you hand over your inbox
Ask for the rate and its basis in writing, who writes the messages, whether you keep sole login and two-factor access, where payouts go, the notice period and whether commission continues after you leave. Ask for a sample report. If an agency will not put an answer in writing, treat it as a no.

What should I ask a chatting agency before signing?
Ask twelve questions and get every answer in writing:
- What is the rate for chatting only?
- What exactly is it charged on, with a worked example?
- Are there setup, hourly or minimum fees?
- What is included: chats, PPV pricing, mass messages, customs, reports?
- Do my login and two-factor access stay solely with me?
- Are payouts paid directly to me?
- Is there a minimum term, and what is the notice period?
- Is any commission due after I leave?
- Who writes the messages, and do you use AI?
- How do you learn my voice, and how are my limits enforced?
- How often do I get a report, and can I see a sample?
- Which company signs the contract, and where is it registered?
These questions mirror the 15 criteria of the Chat Score.

What are red flags in a chatting agency?
Red flags are a request for your password or email login, payouts routed through the agency, a fixed term with an exit fee, commission on income after you leave, no written answer on who writes, and no company name. Any one of them is reason to stop. Only 12 of the 43 agencies we checked state that no commission is due after the end.
Is an OnlyFans agency a scam if it asks for my password?
Not necessarily a scam, but it is an avoidable risk: OnlyFans and CRM tools allow team access without sharing your password, so there is no technical reason for an agency to hold it. Agencies that state that your login stays solely with you score 10 on the login criterion; see the directory.
How do I check agency reviews?
Check whether results are shown with an artifact (a statement screenshot) and a way to verify them, such as a directory that confirms creators or an introduction to a current client. Figures without artifact are weak evidence. The proof group of the score handles this; the table shows each agency's proof score.
What should the contract say?
A fair chatting contract names the rate and its basis, lists what is included, states that login, content and payouts stay yours, sets a notice period of 30 days or less without exit fees, and ends commission when the work ends. Agencies with no minimum term are listed separately.
What if the agency will not answer in writing?
Treat it as a no. A promise on a call is not evidence; that is also why the Chat Score counts only what agencies publish. Compare the agencies that publish their prices before you book any call.
