Switching chatting agencies, step by step

Before you switch, check your notice period and any commission on income after you leave. Then revoke team access, change your password and two-factor codes, export your fan notes and brief the new team before the old one stops. Done in that order, most creators avoid a gap in replies and sales.

How do I switch chatting agencies without losing revenue?

Switch in five steps: read your contract, pick the new agency, brief it during your notice period, revoke the old team's access on the last day, then change your password and two-factor codes. Done in that order, your inbox is never unattended and fans see no gap.

Step 1: What should I check in my current contract?

Check the notice period, any exit fee and whether commission continues on income after the end date. Those three lines decide when you can leave and what it costs. If the contract is silent on commission after the end, ask in writing before you give notice.

Step 2: How do I choose the new agency?

Use the chatting agency table and the 12 questions. Prefer agencies with no minimum term, so the next switch is easy too.

Step 3: How do I hand over without a gap?

Brief the new team while the old one is still working: tone, limits, prices, top fans. Export or copy your fan notes if your CRM allows it; ask the old agency which notes belong to you. Agree a start hour for the new team that matches the old team's last shift.

Step 4: How do I secure my account after the switch?

Revoke the old team's access in OnlyFans and in the CRM, change your password and two-factor codes, and check the email address and payout details on your account. If any of them were in the agency's name, change them first. The tools guide explains team access.

Step 5: What do I tell my fans?

Usually nothing beyond what you already disclose about having help with chats. Fans notice a change in tone, not a change in company, so the brief to the new team matters most. Track your message and tip revenue for the first month with the numbers from the PPV guide.

Questions creators ask

Can my old agency keep commission after I leave?
Only if your contract says so. Agencies that state no commission is due after the end score 10 on that criterion.
How long does switching take?
As long as your notice period, plus a few days of briefing for the new team. With 30 days' notice, plan five to six weeks.
Do I have to tell my old agency where I am going?
No. You give notice under the contract; where you go next is your business.
